Founded in 2003 by Jack Callahan and Doug Davenport, Advanta IRA is a self-directed IRA administrator that helps individuals invest retirement and health savings funds beyond traditional stocks and bonds. The company administers Traditional, Roth, SEP, SIMPLE, and Inherited IRAs, Solo 401(k) plans, HSAs, and ESAs, giving account holders the ability to hold alternative assets such as real estate, private lending, private placements, precious metals, and cryptocurrency inside tax-advantaged accounts. Each client is assigned a dedicated account manager. Custodial services are provided through its affiliate, Advanta Trust Company, a Nevada-licensed retail trust company.
