Blue Plate

Blue Plate is a Chicago-based, independent catering company founded in 1983 by Jim Horan. Blue Plate has grown into one of the city's most awarded caterers, serving as preferred caterer at more than 100 of Chicago's top event venues, including museums, theaters, and cultural institutions. The company offers catered events (weddings, social, and corporate), workplace dining programs, and delivery/drop-off catering for offices. In 2017, Blue Plate moved into Larkin Hall, an 80,000-square-foot headquarters and event venue in the West Loop's Fulton Market District. Blue Plate was Chicago's first Green Restaurant Association-certified caterer.
