About the Position
We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer with strong manual testing experience and a solid understanding of test automation. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products by identifying defects, executing test plans, and collaborating closely with the Product Owner and Developers to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing of new features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
- Design, execute, and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
- Identify, document, and track defects in a clear and concise manner using the assigned bug tracking system.
- Perform regression, functional, integration, and exploratory testing.
- Execute and maintain automated test scripts where applicable.
- Validate reported issues and verify bug fixes before release.
- Collaborate with Developers and Product Owner to identify root causes and improve product quality.
- Suggest improvements to testing processes, product quality, and overall QA practices.
- Collect and analyze quality metrics and help define key product quality KPIs.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure software meets functional requirements and design specifications before deployment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
- Strong experience with manual testing methodologies and best practices.
- Experience with at least one UI or API automation testing framework as Playwright or similar).
- Experience testing REST APIs using tools such as Postman or similar.
- Understanding the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience working in a SaaS environment. Tracking and test management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, or similar).
- Experience writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans, test cases, and bug reports.
- A sense of ownership and commitment to delivering high-quality software.
- Experience writing test scenarios in Gherkin (Given/When/Then) and familiarity with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber, SpecFlow or Behave.
- Familiarity with using AI tools to support test design, test data generation and documentation.
Nice to Have
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution.
- Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation.
- Experience with performance or API testing tools.
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
