Chanty

Chanty is a team communication and collaboration platform founded in 2017 by Dmytro Okunyev, positioned as a simpler, more affordable alternative to Slack and Microsoft Teams. The product combines unlimited-history team chat, audio/video calling (up to 1,000 participants), file sharing, and a built-in Kanban-style task manager. Chanty is bootstrapped and self-funded, growing out of Okunyev's earlier software company, Digifico, without taking outside venture investment. It serves small and medium-sized businesses across industries including retail, healthcare, education, IT, logistics, and real estate, with apps for Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, and Android. The company reports it is used by more than 75,000 companies worldwide and holds SOC 2, ISO 27001/9001, GDPR, and HIPAA compliance.
