Our story began in Catonsville, MD in 1938, as the I.P. Trail Insurance Agency at the end of the #9 streetcar line from downtown Baltimore. From the beginning, we have been focused on serving our customers and giving back to the community. In 1960, the agency became known as The Doetzer-Trail Insurance Agency. The principals of the company took leadership roles in building the community through Jaycees, Rotary, Catonsville Business Association and building the YMCA facility on Rolling Road. Our mission and community involvement has continued through the decades.
In 1969, The Doetzer-Trail Insurance Agency and the Richard Williams Insurance Agency merged to form Consolidated Insurance Center, Inc. As the economy expanded and the region grew, the principals of Consolidated recognized that we could better serve our clients by growing our capabilities. As the insurance needs of our clients grew, so did our agency services by being an industry leader who provided a customer experience that focused on education, innovation, and execution.
