Founded in 1936 by Emmett Culligan, Culligan is a global water treatment company headquartered in Rosemont, Illinois, operating through a network of roughly 1,000 dealers in about 90 countries. Culligan is best known for residential water softeners and filtration, but also offers commercial and industrial water treatment, including office and workplace filtration and bottled/office water delivery for businesses in food service, hospitality, healthcare, and manufacturing.
