Maple (getmaple.ca) is a Toronto-based virtual care company founded in 2015 by Brett Belchetz, Vikas Jain, Roxana Zaman, and Stuart Starr. The platform lets Canadians connect with licensed doctors within minutes via secure text or video chat for diagnosis, treatment, and digital prescriptions. Maple partners with employers, insurers, and retail/pharmacy chains to offer virtual care as an employee health benefit, and has raised roughly $71.9M in total funding, including a CAD $75M Series B led by Loblaw Companies in September 2020.
