About this Position

As a key member of our team, the A/P Specialist provides a variety of administrative and accounting work for the Accounting Department. This position requires sharp focus and the ability to effectively prioritize in a high-volume environment. The ideal candidate for this position will have excellent organization skills, excellent verbal and written communication, strong attention to details.

Requirements

  • Manage all accounting transactions
  • Securing the proper and timely accounting of all issued invoices
  • Proper recording of all entrusted accounting records
  • Completing tax declarations
  • Preparing statements for the Statistical Office of North Macedonia
  • Communicating with auditors, tax authorities, and other institutions
  • Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
  • Ensure timely bank payments for Macedonia and USA office
  • Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
  • Audit financial transactions and documents
  • Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
  • Comply with financial policies and regulations

Responsibilites

  • +4 years’ experience as an Accountant
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures in North Macedonia
  • Advanced MS Excel skills including pivot tables
  • Experience working for companies with international transactions
  • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
  • BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree
  • Team player who can be flexible and personable
  • Great communication skills
