FlexHealth is a pharmacogenomics (PGx) company that tests how an individual's genetics affect their response to medication. Its programme combines a PGx test kit, pharmacist review, drug-gene reporting and clinical decision support for the treating provider, with the aim of identifying a patient's drug-metabolising capacity, flagging potential adverse drug reactions and suggesting safer doses or alternative medications. FlexHealth sells to patients directly, to healthcare providers, and to employers as a health benefit, and operates a CLIA-certified laboratory and a patient portal for ordering kits and viewing results.
