Founded in 2016, Kaizen Health is a business dedicated to the idea that transportation should not be a barrier to wellness and quality member care. This is reflected in our mission (“to foster healthy communities by increasing access to medical care and foundational resources which promote equitable health outcomes”) as well as our long-term corporate vision (“to be the world’s principal healthcare logistics hub, advancing health and wellness by connecting people, products, and services”).
At the core of the Kaizen Health solution are two things: a nationwide network of transportation and logistics partners, and a HIPAA-compliant, HITRUST-certified technology platform to connect supply and demand. Our transportation network consists of both leading rideshare companies (Uber and Lyft), as well as local and regional operators providing higher levels of transportation who are purposefully chosen to support our clients’ transportation needs while maintaining a sharp focus on service and safety. Our technology platform allows for web-based ordering and tracking of rides with a focus on simplicity, transparency and communication not typically ascribed to the NEMT industry.
