Emotional resilience is colloquially referred to as "rolling with the punches" – facing stressful situations and being able to adapt to adversity without sustained difficulties. The development of emotional resilience often begins during early life (childhood) and continues throughout a lifetime. However, this is not always the case; the skills that were developed earlier in life may not be transferable to situations that individuals currently face.
The Tranquility programs utilize the gold-standard (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to teach individuals essential and transferable skills to effectively manage their anxiety and depression. Through our 9 module interactive psychoeducational online program, individuals learn and practice skills that foster emotional resilience on their own or with the support and confidentiality of a personal coach. Upon completion, individuals will have strengthened their tools for the effective management of their mental health and developed valuable transferable skills to help them tackle the situations they encounter in the future.
