Manage My Pain is a clinically-validated app-based solution that helps people with chronic pain self-manage and engage their providers. Based on best practices in pain psychology, it helps employees track their daily activities, pain experiences, and medication use in less than 60 seconds a few times a week. Charts and graphs highlight patterns and trends such as triggering events or how well medications are working. Coping strategies are taught through micro-learning educational modules that require less than 2 minutes each to read. Data-centric reports can be generated and shared with providers to ensure employees get the treatment they need, earlier in the pain cycle. These reports, co-designed by the multi-disciplinary pain treatment center at the University Health Network, provide objectivity into the employees' condition and enable more effective pain management treatments.
