Tuition.io is the leading provider of student loan repayment assistance programs and financial wellness tools focused on helping employees manage the cost of higher education. We offer our services in two ways: 1) TIO administers employer-funded student loan contribution plans for their employees and 2) we offer a stand-alone Financial Wellness Platform to help all employees manage the cost of higher education. The Financial Wellness Platform includes content and decision support tools to assist with saving for college, applying for financial aid as well as optimizing the repayment of student loans given the unique goals and situation of each employee. We also offer online student loan coaching as well as a refinance marketplace for employees interested in refinancing their existing student loans.
The Tuition.io platform is the most flexible solution in the market, designed to be fully customizable to meet the needs of each client. This includes a comprehensive set of plan design options (e.g. eligibility rules, payment amounts, payment frequency, employee communications materials, etc.). Also, the Tuition.io platform is the only service in the market today that provides an employee with a full and real-time updated view of their existing student loan debt through its student loan linking and aggregation capabilities. Unlike competing services, this includes all types of student loan debt including Federal, Private, ParentPlus and GraduatePlus loan types. Finally, our service is 100% funded by employers and we do not receive revenue from the sale of any services to employees, unlike many other service providers whose primary business is to refinance student loans or to market other financial products to employees. While these alternative business models result in an inherent conflict of interest for competing service providers, Tuition.io’s mission is solely focused on helping employees make the best decisions possible regarding their student loan debt. This includes assistance in understanding eligibility rules and how to navigate public student loan forgiveness programs.
