CancerNavigator gives patients their best chance at a positive outcome by providing personalized, research-backed, and data-driven guidance. A designated Oncology Certified Nurse Navigator works one-on-one with each member, providing education, decision support, and guidance to well-equipped experts for their care. Nurse Navigators remain by the patient’s side throughout the journey to help members access clinically appropriate, convenient, and cost-effective care.
1. Early, Proactive Engagement
We use data to identify members in moments of need and place outbound calls to them. Unlike many point solutions, there are no app downloads, account registrations, or complex activation steps. We see engagement rates of 30–40% among newly diagnosed patients.
2. Precision Navigation for Every Patient
Guidance is powered by a proprietary Cancer Navigation Database that maps which cancer centers and physicians across the United States are best equipped to diagnose and treat specific cancer types, subtypes, and stages, based on the member’s location and available network.
3. Oncology Certified Nurse Stays With the Patient
Patients need a trusted person to help translate data into action. Oncology Certified Nurses serve as long-term, 1:1 guides and advocates, with emphasis on education and decision support. Members keep the same nurse from diagnosis through treatment and survivorship.
