meQ’s program is its clinical validation against gold standard measures for mental health, such as the PHQ9, GAD7, and PSS, among others. The program identifies persons and populations that are at high risk for or suffering from conditions like depression, anxiety, stress, burnout, and more. More importantly, pre-/post-assessment data show that meQ use lowers these risks in a population. Foundational skills to support mental health can be taught, and mental health risks can be measurably reduced. meQ utilizes a unique process to facilitate self-awareness and cognitive improvements.
Our training modules facilitate metacognition through exercises that help users identify flaws in their thinking, their go-to emotions, and other conscious and subconscious obstacles to healthy behaviors. Once these obstacles are identified, users are given CBT-based skills and practices that engender ongoing reflection on thinking errors and reframe problematic response patterns.
Following this metacognitive phase, digital content and training for improved approaches and healthier cognition are provided, along with opportunities to practice these skills in order to forge new, highly functional, healthy neural pathways. Customers can help manage mental health risks by investing in meQ to proactively train to manage stress, improve emotional awareness, and care for their own mental health.
